OUR STORY

In the summer of 1995 two friends decided to open a restaurant with a simple concept; delicious, creative food paired with a wide array of micro brews in a comfortable atmosphere.  John Grollmus and Brad Fosseen opened the Moon Time a year later.  Based on the idea of a traditional English public house, Moon Time quickly became a Coeur d’ Alene favorite.

Over the years their restaurant empire grew to include the Elk in Spokane, The Porch in Hayden Lake, The Two Seven on Spokane’s south hill, and el que in Browne’s Addition, but the concept never changed.  Give people good food and drink at a reasonable price in a comfortable atmosphere and people will come.  Come visit one of the pubs and see why people say, “Every neighborhood should be so lucky.”

THE LAKE DAY*

Smoked ham and turkey piled on white bread with garlic mayo, yellow mustard, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, American cheese and Doritos. Accompanied by your choice of roasted corn pasta salad or Tim’s Cascade chips or potato salad. $17

MUSHROOM RAVIOLI
Portobello and crimini stuffed ravioli topped with a roasted red pepper cream sauce. Garnished with feta and fresh basil and served with sliced French bread. $20

PORK BELLY APPETIZER
Hickory smoked pork belly roasted with spices and served with Chinese hot mustard for dipping and garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. $15

PENNE ALLA CIPOLE

A traditional pasta featuring red onions, roasted garlic, black pepper, fresh parsley, butter, olive oil and white wine tossed with penne noodles. Garnished with feta and served with sliced French bread. $17

SHRIMP ELOTE TACOS
Blackened shrimp served on corn tortillas with savoy cabbage and elote salsa fresca. Garnished with Cojita cheese, cilantro and Mexican white sauce. Served with a small guajillo Caesar salad. $19

CHICKEN ENCHILADA PENNE
Chicken breast sauteed with onions, garlic and bell peppers then tossed with penne noodles and a house made enchilada sauce. Garnished with green onions and pepper jack cheese and served with sliced French bread. $19

CHICKEN ENCHILADA SANDWICH
Poached chicken breast, onions, bell peppers, enchilada sauce and Monterey jack cheese served hot on a toasted bun with cilantro pesto mayo. Accompanied by your choice of roasted corn pasta salad or Tim’s Cascade chips or potato salad. $18

SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS PENNE
Onions, garlic, fresh basil, tomatoes, bell peppers and spicy Italian sausage slowly simmered then tossed with penne noodles. Garnished with parmesan and fresh parsley and served with sliced French bread.  $18
