OUR STORY

In the summer of 1995 two friends decided to open a restaurant with a simple concept; delicious, creative food paired with a wide array of micro brews in a comfortable atmosphere.  John Grollmus and Brad Fosseen opened the Moon Time a year later.  Based on the idea of a traditional English public house, Moon Time quickly became a Coeur d’ Alene favorite.

Over the years their restaurant empire grew to include the Elk in Spokane, The Porch in Hayden Lake, The Two Seven on Spokane’s south hill, and el que in Browne’s Addition, but the concept never changed.  Give people good food and drink at a reasonable price in a comfortable atmosphere and people will come.  Come visit one of the pubs and see why people say, “Every neighborhood should be so lucky.”

BAHN MI
Marinated pork is seared and piled on a toasted French roll with tzatziki sauce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, Anaheim peppers and cilantro. Accompanied by your choice of roasted corn pasta salad or Tim’s Cascade chips or potato salad. $18

SHRIMP FRA DIAVOLO
Shrimp are sautéed with onions, mushrooms, garlic, green bell peppers, red chili flakes and butter then tossed in a rich tomato sauce with spaghetti noodles. Garnished with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley and served with sliced French bread. $20

CURRIED CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH
A house made curry chicken salad featuring roasted chicken, yellow curry, red grapes and mayo served on thick sliced wheat bread with lettuce. Accompanied by your choice of roasted corn pasta salad or Tim’s Cascade chips or potato salad. $18

SPICY SAUSAGE FUSILLI

A hearty pasta featuring spicy Italian sausage, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes, fresh basil, fresh oregano and garlic tossed with fusilli noodles. Garnished with Monterey jack cheese and served with sliced French bread. $19

BLACK & BLUE BURGER
A 6oz hand formed patty is seasoned with blackening spice then char-grilled and topped with blue cheese and crisp peppered bacon. Served on a toasted bun with mayo and accompanied by your choice of roasted corn pasta salad or Tim’s Cascade chips or potato salad. $19

SHRIMP LINGUINI
Sautéed shrimp, garlic, red chili flakes and sun-dried tomatoes tossed with spinach, cream and linguini noodles. Garnished with parmesan cheese and served with sliced French bread. $20

FRIED POTATO QUESADILLA
Spiced red potatoes, bell peppers, black beans, roasted corn, pepper jack cheese and a New Mexican red pepper sauce folded into a flour tortilla and grilled to perfection. Served with sour cream and cilantro pesto for dipping. $15

JALAPENO AND BACON MAC & CHEESE
Cheddar cheese, fresh garlic, Monterey jack cheese, pickled jalapeno and bacon tossed with cream, chicken stock and macaroni noodles.  Garnished with fresh cilantro and served with sliced French bread.  $18
